You must have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer
before you can open this file.
Activity Description:
To add clip art to a document
Under Insert select
A new window will appear with various folders
that contain many clip art pictures.
Select the folder topic you would like by clicking
once on it.
When you see the clip art that you want, click
on it. A small window will appear with four icons.
The first icon is the Insert Clip. Click on this
to put the clip art into your document. The second
icon is the Preview Clip. Click this to see what
your clipart will look like in your document.
To search for specific clip art
While in the Insert ClipArt Window, you will
see a white rectangle at the top labeled Search for
Clips.
Type in a topic (example: space)
To Format a clip art picture
Click on the picture. A faint black box
will appear around the picture.
Under Format select Picture.
This window will appear:
Click on the Layout tab. Select the Wrapping
Style you want.
Click on the Colors and Lines tab. These
options will allow you to place color behind
or a line around your picture.
Click OK when finished.
You may see your picture in a new location.
To move your picture, just click and drag
in the middle of the picture.
To change the size
Move your cursor over a corner “grab box”.
Once you see your cursor change to a double-headed
arrow, click and drag diagonally to make your picture
bigger or smaller.
To delete a picture
Click once on your picture. Once you see the see
the faint black box around the picture, hit the Delete
key.
