Tech Word:
RGB/CMYK
 |
Colors in technology are often referred to by these two acronyms. RGB stands for Red, Green, Blue, and are the main colors of light that can be perceived by the human eye. CMYK stands for Cyan (blue), Magenta (pinkish red),
Yellow and Black, and are the standard colors of ink used in today's printers. Mixtures of these colors can provide a wide variety of colors and shades. When editing colors in technology projects, use RGB colors for images to be viewed on screen, and CMYK selections when the project is to be printed.
